🌌Por primera vez en 50,000 años, el cometa verde se podrá observar desde la Tierra, la última vez que visitó nuestro espacio interior lo pudieron ver los neardentales.
Este 1ro de febrero el cometa pasará entre las órbitas de la Tierra y Marte a una velocidad relativa de 207,000 km/hora y llegará a su punto más cercano a la Tierra (perigeo), a 42 millones de kilómetros la noche del 1ro de febrero, momento en que su brillo aparente será mayor.
Según informó el Centro Aeroespacial Alemán, será posible verlo en vivo con el uso de unos prismáticos, telescopio o a simple vista (en menor medida) y se tendrá mayor probabilidad en zonas con una menor contaminación lumínica y si es en horario de medianoche o antes del amanecer, será mucho mejor.
En el hemisferio norte, el mejor momento para observar al cometa será la semana del 31 de enero al 5 de febrero y en el hemisferio sur, se podrá captar desde el 2 de febrero (en los países más australes, se verá desde el 6 de febrero).
